Wow, this is very cool. Took it up to the vet with me when we were doing x rays. I had just received it. Our vet tech is 11 weeks pregnant and was so excited she used it on herself before I got to use it on my bitch. She picked up her babies' heartbeats right away. We then tried it on my bitch and got them too! Very exciting.
During Whelping the doppler showed that there was an unexpected pup on the way twice - we had 8 arrivals not just 6 as the vet read on the x-ray. And the female went to the back of the whelping bed for the last 2 - I wouldn't have known why if I didn't have the doppler as she had the first 6 at the front edge.
I would recommend it to anybody - I was so pleased at that moment to have it. The doppler/instrument package is great, convenient, I used it all, it is neatly stored and not so easy to lose.
